    Ages 8-15

    We will work on not just ballet but strength and technique for all of our dancing. Every week we will do a full ballet barre and either center work, floor barre, or exercises to strengthen our muscles and improve our dancing. We will do exercises to specifically target the muscles that we use in ballet and in all other styles of dance and in our daily lives. The use of bands to strengthen our feet or blocks to help strengthen our ankles and improve our balance will be introduced. 

    Students will be given modifications for exercises for younger ages.

    Students will be invited to perform in the Student Showcase a short ballet piece that will take inspiration from well known Ballets. They may also be taught some ballet variations throughout the year inspired by or from ballets such as the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and Coppelia. 

    Students will not need ballet shoes to begin but will as they continue.

    Fitted clothing is required to see how the body moves properly and safely.

You are registering for an individual class on a per-session basis. This is a non-committal, space-dependent registration. Please note:

  • This registration is for our Flex Options: a single class only or 10-day Class Pass

  • Per-class students may not be eligible for the Showcase, unless discussed prior

  • This class typically does not perform in the Showcase but may decide to per a group discussion.

  • Payment of $18 per class is required at time of class

  • No refunds or transfers unless the class is canceled by the studio
