• This class takes a unique approach to learning ballet by starting on the floor rather than at the barre. Inspired by floor barre techniques, it focuses on gently training the body to understand alignment, posture, and movement patterns without the pressure of standing work right away.

Students will begin with floor-based exercises to build strength, flexibility, and awareness, then gradually progress to standing at the barre and eventually moving in the center. The emphasis is on body education, technique, and mindful movement—not performance.

Open to adults of all ages, genders, body types, and levels of experience. Whether you’re brand new to ballet, returning after time away, or simply looking for a thoughtful way to build technique, this class offers a supportive environment to grow at your own pace.
